![]() Jim loved to dress in his Santa Claus costume in the 60s, 70s & 80s and visit the local daycares and neighborhood kids by parental appointment, ending up at his own home to entertain his seven children - and eventually grandchildren. He went on to hold many commissions at the state level, and was Grand Knight once again in Shakopee in the 80s. He was the charter Grand Knight at North Mankato Council #5551 in May 1964. Jim was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, joining in 1954. His favorite was two busses full to New York to see the Twin Towers and St Patrick's Cathedral, then onward to Cooperstown and Niagara Falls. ![]() ![]() He was then Owner-Operator of US-Can Travel Tours until 2000, organizing many busloads of seniors for tours for throughout the United States. He enjoyed teaching the newspaper carriers the basics of business as an award-winning Circulation Manager in Mankato, Fargo, Detroit Lakes and Shakopee, retiring in 1991. Jim worked in the Circulation Department of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune for 37 years, beginning in St James MN in 1954. He married Arlene Elizabeth Tempel on July 17, 1954, and produced seven children between 19. He graduated from Anoka High School in 1953. Jim was born Septemnear Rogers, MN, one of four children of Theodore and Katherine Bouley. Bouley, James Edward "Jim" of Shakopee, MN died on Saturday Novemin St Francis Hospital, Shakopee at the age of 89. ![]()
